The Top Escape Rooms Project is an attempt to find the very best escape rooms in the world by leveraging the experience of the most experienced escape room enthusiasts in the world. We serve escape room owners and designers by publicly recognizing their achievements, and we serve our fellow enthusiasts by providing an international bucket list of the best rooms to play.

ER Champ

ER Champ is an international escape room competition, where teams from all over the world compete to get the best score in solving puzzle rooms. Every year, participants in this competition can be counted in the thousands, and the number only keeps growing. The competition consists of two rounds – Qualifications (online) and Finals for the top 10 teams that performed best in the qualifications. Over the years, the finals have been held in Poland, Czechia, and in 2025, the finals will take place on October 19-20 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Lock.me

Lock.me is a platform for finding, rating and booking escape rooms. It started its operations in Poland in 2015 and within two years established itself as an industry leader. In 2017, the platform expanded to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with Bulgaria being the most recently added country to Lock.me. Their primary goal is to create a place where someone looking for an escape room can find all the necessary information.

FuryEscape

Team Fury was founded in 2014. Since then, the team has grown significantly and now includes over 50 honorary members. They continue to travel the world, play, and test escape rooms. They are privileged to receive invitations to test games—whether at the conceptual level or just before their official launch. This allows them to contribute new content to the FuryEscape blog. They are always eager to share their passion with other teams and escape room owners. Team Fury are also TERPECA and ER Champ ambassadors.
