About ABER

The Association of Bulgarian Escape Rooms (ABER) is a non-profit, non-government organization founded by enthusiasts and a substantial part of the companies offering escape room games in their portfolios. ABER was established in 2024.

ABER Goals

To encourage people to play escap rooms, by spreading the words and working for awarness
To play an ambassador role and promote escape rooms in Bulgaria
To improve the visibility of Bulgarian products and games in international markets
To establish the Association as a leading organization in the sector and cooperate with international partners
To encourage professional ethics, loyalty, and market fairness
To work with government institutions for the creation of modern legislation
To represent the interests of its members before authorities, media, and the tourism sector
To establish partnerships with businesses, scientific, and technical organizations to develop the market
To collaborate with international organizations and participate in conferences
To encourage cooperation and voluntary dispute resolution among members
To advise and support business modernization
To organize information exchange, training, and events
To publish an annual newsletter to inform and promote the industry

ABER Activities

Promoting escape rooms
Establishing international partnerships and mutual representation with foreign organizations
Protecting members' rights and interests, including against unfair competition
Providing information on business opportunities
Organizing training, conferences, and professional meetings
Developing a website for transparency and activity promotion
Creating audio and video materials to spread the association's ideas
